Transpersonal coaching is a holistic & integrative approach to support growth & transformation

The role of a transpersonal coach is to support the client to develop a more expansive and interconnected sense of self and, in so doing, help the client to access the necessary resources (physical, intellectual, emotional, social, psychological and spiritual) that may aid the attainment of their fullest potential and performance. This is achieved through tailored processes to help clients identify what provides them with a sense of meaning and purpose and, in turn, to assist the client to find ways of consciously expressing this – in their work, their personal life and within relationships.

Transpersonal coaching works with the whole person: mind-body-spirit

Our Transpersonal Coaching Model draws from the fields of transpersonal psychology, applied mindfulness, holistic aspects of NLP and trauma-informed approaches, including the work of Richard Schwartz (Internal Family Systems), Gabor Maté (healing the root of trauma), Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing), Thomas Hübl (healing collective trauma), Deb Dana (Polyvagal Theory and trauma), Daniel Siegel (Interpersonal Neurobiology) and Bessel van der Kolk.

However, this unique coaching methodology does not rely on a particular set of techniques or principles, but rather honing the skill of facilitating a context for transformation. This fundamental skill can also be thought of as holding a liminal space – open, receptive and emergent – walking the client through a transformative passage of inquiry and expansion, while helping the client to integrate their new and resourceful perspectives into their lives.
