Authentic Self Empowerment

What is ASE

For individuals, Authentic Self Empowerment (ASE) methods involve bringing one’s true nature to life!

Applied ASE enables groups to harness their collective consciousness and combined creativity, promoting win-win-win outcomes.

Authentic Self Empowerment (ASE)

ASE guides you to transcend the ego states that limit your personal, professional and spiritual growth.

Combining Applied Mindfulness, Somatic Awareness, Embodiment Practrice, Parts Work, Transpersonal Psychology,  holistic approaches from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and inspiration from Nature, ASE provides the means for you to identify your purpose in life, enhance your presence, and propel your passion.

ASE is not only about personal transformation and growth, it’s about identifying and integrating all parts of you so that you can access your true potential in the different areas of your life – and thereby be a valuable presence in the lives of others and in the world.

See clear! Be here! Make a difference!

ASE enables people to open the ‘aperture’ of their awareness, thereby counteracting the negative consequences of tunnel awareness that is associated with stress, fear, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, and many of the symptoms of trauma.

ASE applies specific principles that enable people to approach all types of stressful situations with greater ease, centredness and openness, which in turn promotes mindful resiliency, resourcefulness and spontaneous reflexivity – intuitive responsiveness.

In practice, ASE includes a simple, practical and dynamic set of skills that anyone can learn and use to resolve challenges effectively, no matter which level they manifested on — physical, psychological or spiritual.

One of the popular ASE methods is the Transpersonal Coaching Model for which an extensive training programme has been developed and a comprehensive handbook

What is the Authentic Self?

A sense of aliveness, enthusiasm, compassion and purpose are characteristics of the Authentic Self. In challenging situations, the Authentic Self is that clear and meaningful inner guidance that instils hope and shows you how to move forward.

Although ASE is not associated with any religious or spiritual tradition, the awakening of the Authentic Self might be comparable to a spiritual awakening. We think about it as integrating and aligning all the parts (subpersonalities) of yourself – establishing your full potential.

According to Dr. Richard Schwartz, the 8 c-words that describe the experience of the Authentic Self are: calm, curious, compassionate, confident, clarity, courage, creativity, and connectedness.

We also consider the Authentic Self to be synonymous with the Ecological Self – where we feel deeply connected within ourselves, to others and to the earth. Embodying the Authentic Self therefore promotes personal resourcefulness, conscious relationships, mindful collaboration within organizations, as well as mutually beneficial actions that follow the principles of nature and respect environmental sustainability.
